Many of you know I spent six weeks in America visiting family and friends. A time filled with lots of love and yummy tasting American food. It was a time to reconnect with so many people. It was a time to rest and relax and receive. I enjoyed seeing people I had not see in a years and catching up on all G has been doing in China. I have my heart in two different places, it's something hard to explain, but I'm sure it's much like a grandparent who has to say goodbye (or see you later I suppose) to their grandchildren. It was painful to say goodbye to so many people. Some try to comfort and say it's only "see you later" but in the back of my mind I keep thinking we are never guaranteed tomorrow. This year was different, it was special, it was good, but it a was void of a few special people. I don't enjoy saying good bye, but it is important to me because well the reality is I may never see you again and I want to make sure I say goodbye, and I love you! It gives me closure, so if something happens I can say, I said I love you, I said goodbye....my last words weren't something without meaning. I really think it's important to tell people they are loved, and to say goodbye, because you never know what happens. Our words are powerful and can really impact someone. I want my words to always have meaning, I want my words to be encouraging to all I meet, I want my words to be powerful. Saying goodbye was difficult....but I get to say hello! As I traveled back to China I was greeted with lots of hugs and hello's! I was reminded of the power of words...the trip home was long, I needed to often ask for help because my luggage was heavy, and again I was reminded the power of our words...asking for help...not something easy, but we all need help sometimes...but the opposite is offering our help....so many people offered to help me...powerful words..."Can I help you" and "Can you help me" I wasn't really sure what to write in this blog (I just remembered someone suggested I start a blog) and I love to write...but I decided to encourage all who read this your words are powerful...you words can either encourage or tear someone down...what would you like to hear in your day? Remember a simple "hello" or "your outfit is beautiful" "can I help you" "I love you" can change someone for life.
